Erin E. Lunceford, born Normal, Illinois, June 21, 1961; admitted to bar, 1988, Texas; also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Western District of Arkansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

On July 8, 2015 Erin was appointed to fill the unexpired term as Judge, 61st Civil District Court of Harris County, Texas. Prior to being appointed,
Erin's principal area of practice was personal injury trial law, specializing in the defense of health care clients. Her professional experience includes first chair responsibility for the litigation of medical malpractice, premises liability, auto, commercial transportation, construction, employment, products liability, DTPA, professional negligence, and wrongful death claims. She has successfully tried over 33 cases to verdict throughout state courts in Texas and has handled over 38 appeals in both state and federal courts.
